Running

Chris Poulos has been a distance runner most of his life. In 1985 Chris started running competitively as a member of the LaSalle Academy (Rams) Cross Country Team. In 1992 Chris competed for the Community College of Rhode Island (Knights) Cross Country Team. Since 2004 Chris has been competing in road races. Chris' coach is Ray Nelson. Although Chris runs every distance from the mile up, his main focus is primarily marathons. Chris runs everyday (sometimes twice). He is always training for his next marathon, sometimes running over 100 miles per week. Chris is presently training for the USA Masters National Championships, which is being held this year as part of the 2011 Twin Cities Marathon.
